The 8th graders will have the opportunity to meet with Wilson counselors tomorrow at their 8th grade assembly tomorrow morning. You can go over the Wilson Forecast Guide 2017-18 with your 8th graders beforehand, which can be found here.
Due to the ice and snow last week, the winter Awesome Fun Night was canceled. It will be rescheduled for Friday, January 20th. Same time, same place! Students will need new permission slips but if they already paid, we will hold that for them.

The PTA Clothing Center has assisted nearly 900 students since school began this year. They would not be able to meet the needs of the kids without wonderful volunteers. If you have never volunteered at the clothing center, you will get a short training by the volunteer supervisors when you arrive.
The clothing center is located at Marshall High School, 3905 SE 91st (cross streets are SE 92nd and Powell). Once at Marshall, remember to sign in and out in the main office. Volunteer hours are from 9:30am – 1:30pm.
The clothing center is extremely low on middle school and high school-sized warm winter coats, as well as new hats, scarves and gloves. Please consider donating as well as volunteering. Donations can be made in the main office at Jackson.
Join us at Jackson Middle School for Choir! Pizza & Pie… Oh, My! Wednesday, December 6th. Pizza and pie will be served from 5:45 to 7:00 and the Jackson Middle School choirs will begin their performances at 7:15.

It is also important to note that schools in some parts of the city may face more weather-related disruption than others, so pay attention to school-specific delays or closures. School bus drivers gave snow route information to each student on Friday, in anticipation of the possibility that they will need to be used. Keep warm!
