Principal’s Report – Susan Kosmala
- Social Service Fair was a great success.
- Awesome Fun Night on 11/22/2019, 6:00pm – 8:30pm. We had over 200 students attend.
- Conferences – many sixth-grade teachers had over 90% participation went.
- Testing – January is testing season. Students will participate in the second of three benchmark assessments. It will give teachers a better understanding of what students have mastered in the areas of reading and math and what they still need to work on. This will give the teachers an idea of what the students are mastering and what needs to be retaught. This testing takes about three days out of the student learning time, which was a hard sell in the fall. The testing is open for the entire month of January, teachers will choose when the assessment will take place in their classrooms.
The next PTA meeting is scheduled for 01/14/2020.
Meeting adjourned at 6:58pm
After tonight’s meeting Lisa Weiner from Handmade Parenting will present “Anxiety in Adolescents.
