Our children deserve the best education possible, so please donate today. The PTA supports the Bernstein Artful Learning Program, field trip scholarships, classroom supplies, technology and Culture Day. Jackson Middle School PTA is a tax exempt organization and 100% of your contribution is tax deductible.

Bernstein Artful Learning

Please contribute to our annual Bernstein Artful Learning campaign; Jackson Middle School PTA’s commitment to this unique learning model is $25,000. At Jackson Middle School a Bernstein unit might:

  • Utilize a local author/illustrator to help students apply their knowledge of a particular animal to produce an original book
  • Require students to create a dance based on geometric terminology with the help and instruction of a local dancer or troupe
  • Ask students to create a periodic table of their own design that shows their understanding of the periodic table of elements
  • Perform an original monologue, piece of music, or scene from a selection of literature
  • Apply their knowledge of the dynamic earth to a mosaic creation of their own design
  • Create a work of art that reflects an understanding of a particular technique or culture

General Fund Drive

Jackson Middle School’s PTA Annual General Fund provides several support programs for JMS students including Classroom Support, Cultural Day, Library Grants, Technological Systems, Teacher Appreciation Events and MUCH more!  Each year we need about $25,000 to fulfill school support funding.

Special Projects

Our third fundraising objective is dedicated to large ticket items such as Chromebook purchase, supporting our on-site SUN School and Capitol Improvements to Jackson Middle School. Proposed spending is reviewed and discussed by all members at monthly general meetings.

Fred Meyer Rewards Card Designation

Link your Rewards Card to Jackson Middle School PTA by following the instructions below. Whenever you use your linked Rewards Card when shopping at Freddyʼs, you will be helping us to earn a donation from the Kroger company of stores (while continuing to enjoy all the same rewards as before). If you do not have a Rewards Card, you can sign up for one at the customer service desk of any Fred Meyer store. Ask grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors and friends to also designate JMS and maximize your family’s automatic donation.

  1. Log in to fredmeyer.com
  2. Click on the purple tab “LINK YOUR REWARDS CARD NOW”.
  3. Type “Jackson” into the search bar and click SEARCH.
  4. Select the button for Jackson Middle School PTA.
  5. Click “SAVE”.
  6. You’re done!
